◎简 介
退伍的士兵Frank（亨弗莱·鲍嘉 Humphrey Bogart 饰）来到佛罗里达港口的Largo旅馆拜访他已故战友George的父亲Temple和George的遗孀Nora（劳伦·白考尔 Lauren Bacall饰），在Temple经营的旅馆里Frank认识了一个神秘的客人Curly，Curly和他的朋友们包下了整个旅馆。警察为了追踪两个越狱的印第安人也来到了旅馆。夜里，Curly一伙人露出了他们的真面目，并且黑帮老大Johnny Rocco（爱德华·罗宾逊 Edward G. Robinson 饰）也现身了。这个团伙要在这个旅馆和另一个黑帮进行交易。他们挟持了Temple、Frank还有Nora。飓风来临，整个港口狂风暴雨，而这个旅馆里也将掀起一场血雨腥风......
