◎简 介
弗朗西斯是一名税务调查员，此刻，他正面临着一生中最灰暗的时刻。妻子出轨，女儿被害，为了排遣生活的压力，他频繁的出入色情酒店，并结识了名叫克里斯蒂娜（米娅·科施娜 Mia Kirshner 饰）的舞女。弗朗西斯对克里斯蒂娜情有独钟，原因只有一个，那就是克里斯蒂娜的样貌酷似他的女儿。可是，酒店主持人艾里克（伊莱亚斯·科泰斯 Elias Koteas 饰）对弗朗西斯的行为大为火光，他设计引诱弗朗西斯触犯了酒店的规矩，之后将他胖揍了一顿。
心中充满愤怒的弗朗西斯决心复仇，正巧，一个名叫托马斯（唐·麦凯勒 Don McKellar 饰）的商人因偷税漏税被弗朗西斯抓住，弗朗西斯利用托马斯将艾里克引出酒店，自己则在门口守株待兔，一场悲剧眼看就要发生。
